Bruce Public Relations founder gives TEDx talk at TEDx Inverness
13 October 2016: Bruce PR founder Laura Bruce gave a talk at TEDx Inverness at Eden Court tonight. Around 100 people attended the event which was sold out weeks in advance. Laura’s talk, entitled “When we procrastinate, we can’t be great”, generated tremendous feedback, with a number of people saying to her afterwards that her talk brought a tear to their eye.
“I’m delighted to have been a part of TEDx Inverness,” said Laura. “What is particularly gratifying is that my remarks had such an impact for some of the attendees. That is really poignant, and it confirms the power of the spoken word, delivered in person to an audience.”
A video of the event will be released by TEDx Inverness, and Laura’s TEDx talk will be available on YouTube.

That’s the advice from Laura Bruce of Bruce Public Relations, who shared her networking tips with more than 50 businesswomen from across the north of Scotland. The joint meeting of Highland Business Women and Moray Businesswomen’s Club at the Sun Dancer Restaurant in Nairn was a sold-out event, and attendees immediately put Laura’s tips to work in the formal networking session that followed.
